At PARAGON Consulting Services L.P., we combine flexible private offices and coworking spaces with responsible operations. ESG principles —environmental, social and governance— guide our choices and improvement goals.
This policy sets out our commitments and priorities. It is not an ESG certification or a claim that specific environmental performance targets have been achieved.
Environmental: Responsible Use of Resources
- Energy efficiency: prioritising LED lighting, efficient equipment, maintenance and sensible use of air conditioning and energy, according to each location’s facilities.
- Less paper: encouraging electronic documents, electronic signatures where accepted and digital communication. Scanning customer mail requires an instruction from the customer.
- Less waste: responsible consumption, reuse and recycling through suitable facilities or partners where available. We aim to reduce single-use plastics.
Social: People and the Local Community
- Health and safety: prioritising cleaning, maintenance, suitable lighting and ventilation, and safe use of equipment.
- Respect and inclusion: discrimination, harassment and bullying are not acceptable. We assess access needs against the facilities of each workspace; see Accessibility.
- Privacy: handling business mail and personal data confidentially, with access limited to authorised people.
- Local enterprise: supporting professionals, new businesses and start-ups through flexible workspaces and services in Heraklion, Crete.
Governance: Transparency and Responsibility
- Clear offers and agreements covering services, charges and each party’s responsibilities.
- A commitment to applicable tax, employment and other legal requirements.
- Proportionate checks of customer and representative details where required for an agreement or a legal obligation, without unnecessary collection of personal data.
- Reviewing complaints and feedback to improve our services.
Partner and Supplier Code of Conduct
Core principles: mutual trust, integrity and respect. We expect partners, suppliers and external professionals to follow these principles:
- Lawful and ethical business: comply with applicable law, reject bribery and unlawful transactions, communicate honestly and disclose conflicts of interest promptly.
- Human rights: provide safe and respectful working conditions and equal treatment, with no tolerance for violence, harassment, forced labour or unlawful child labour.
- Environmental responsibility: reduce waste, manage it responsibly and favour durable, efficient products where practical.
- Confidentiality: access premises, mail and data only with authorisation and for the agreed purpose, follow data protection requirements and report incidents to PARAGON promptly.
